2006 LIBERTY MUTUAL FIREMARK AWARD

On April 25th 2007 Harvard firefighter Oona Aldrich was presented with the 2006 Liberty Mutual Firemark Award for Public Safety Fire Education.  State Fire Marshal Stephen Cohen was in attendance for the ceremony which took place in front of an assembly of Oona's young students at the Harvard Elementary School.  Numerous members of the Harvard Fire Department where in attendance to show their support for Oona who has been involved with fire prevention education since she joined the department in 1998.  The Harvard Fire Department congratulates Oona on receiving this award and commends her continuing efforts to make Harvard's Fire Prevention Program one of the best in the State.
