On May 4, 2010, the Harvard Fire Department and entire Harvard community lost a great man when Ken Harrod unexpectedly passed away.

A lifelong resident of Harvard and a 45-year member of the Harvard Fire Department, Ken was always helping others out in any way that he could.  He was a great mentor to all in the department, and loved by all for his patience, skill, charity and kind manner.

The 4th Annual Ken Harrod Memorial Bike Ride, to be held this year on Saturday May 31st,  is a fundraiser honoring Ken's memory and legacy.

This year, we are partnering with the Minuteman Road Club to expand the event to include a series of competitive races in addition to the fun recreational ride.
